It’s back! Happy monday all. Last week was an amazing week for me. As though the universe was prompting me to get my life in order a little note appeared in my facebook sidebar. Let me explain, yes, half the time all I get are ads proclaiming ‘lose weight now’ or ‘ten easy ways for instant muscle growth’ or some obscure band with an equally crap name trying to get me to click their video just once. Jayzuz.

I’m not sure what the internet gods are reading from my search profile that they feel it necessary to offer me this sort of information BUT finally they provided me with something I would actually click through on. A new band, not just any new band, Carrie Brownstein new band! Do you think she reads my blog? Have I caused a watershed moment in history? Er probs not but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t celebrate it. I’m not picky. 

Wild Flag, sees Carrie and SK drummer Janet Weiss team up with the Minders’ Rebecca Cole and Mary Timony of Helium. They apparently have seven songs which they have been taking on the road. So far reviews are positive. I can safely say there soon to be released EP has just shot to the top of my albums I cannot wait for list.
